My name is Nicole Shelby and I am a 4th grade teacher in Kentucky. I have been teaching for twelve years. During that time, I earned a Master's degree and achieved National Board Certification. To be honest, teaching is my life! I can't think of anything else I would rather do. I thank God every day for leading me into this profession. I don't have children of my own, so I am so thankful I have the opportunity to work with kids and love them (even if I only have them for a year). Currently, I teach ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
On the home front, I have been married to my husband, David for twelve years. We enjoy spending time together and traveling. I definitely look forward to our summer vacation to the beach....generally to Jamaica or the Bahamas.
