If you are interested in purchasing this notebook, you can check out my TpT or TN stores.
Also, I want to address a question that I have been asked several times. I have had 6th grade teachers contact me about making a notebook aligned with the 6th grade standards. Unfortunately, I will not be making notebooks for this grade level. I am certified for grades K-5 and although I teach upper elementary, I am not comfortable with trying to create a notebook for a grade level I have NO experience teaching. I would be very afraid I would not be able to meet the rigor that is required for those standards. I hope that you can understand. I hate telling people no, but in this case, I really have no choice. ;)
Thank you so much for all of your support and interest in my notebooks. Your sweet comments feedback keep me motivated to continue creating new notebooks even though my hands are cramping from coloring and my eyes are strained from staring at the computer for HOURS at a time. You all are fantastic!!! I can't wait for school to start so I can blog more about how I use these little "jewels" in the classroom to help my students truly understand the standards. I am currently working on Language notebooks for 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. They will be finished soon. :)
Happy Wednesday!!!!
I've been waiting for this! I was so excited when you started making other grades and hoped you would make one for 2nd grade. I'm moving down from 4th grade and can't wait to use this! Thanks for making it!

I am so hoping that you will make the notebooks for 1st grade. Is that something that you are planning on doing? I can totally imagine using these with my littles.

For the Love of First Grade
Are you making a first grade version? Pretty please!!!
ReplyDeleteTo my first grade friends, I am not going to tell you no because I have not completely ruled it out, but I have some other notebooks that I have to finish first. I will see where I am after I get those finished. Thanks for your sweet comments and your interest in my notebooks.:)

I look forward to a 4th grade version! I am finishing up a huge Interactive Writing Notebook aligned to the Common Core and was going to implement it this year. It would be great to implement a reading one too! Let me know if this is in your plans. P.S. I posted your notebook site on my other blog and FB called Common Core Teacher!

OOhhhhhh please please make both notebooks for first grade! I would purchase them in a heartbeat...I totally understand that you have a summer like the rest of us, but if it is anywhere in your summer plans to make both of them for first grade, I would love to know so I don't end up making them myself...I l.o.v.e how cute yours are! Aloha and mahalo, Christian

I have a question with regards to your interactive notebooks. I'm a mom to a soon to be third grader, and I love the idea of having everything she learned at school as a reference tool. Does your file need to have a lesson plan that goes along with it or is all the information included in your file and all I would need to do is glue it into a book.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
